I guess it was just a matter of time before they actually fined the airline for that cluster-phuck a few months back. Just another "fly" in the ointment... :roll: :lol:

Lets not believe that American is the only airline guilty of this. They're the only one who got caught. These days, with airlines trying to cut costs, you KNOW they are not maintaining the airplanes the way they're supposed to because it costs money and lost revenue. Honestly, I think it's just luck that more accidents don't happen.

I was checking fares from LAX to SJO around October/November and AA has some fares at $383 while TACA is around $750. I would rather pay the extra $350 or $375 and fly TACA rather than that piece of crap AA.

Not suprising, I haven't given AA even a passing thought since my entire office was trapped in Chicago 4 years ago after a sales conference. Continental all the way, and no more than two employees on any one flight.
