If your Spanish is decent, you can try "La Cantina" at Best Western Irazu. And there are some Strip Clubs nearby, but that's about it. |

Best Western has large signs at the entrance advising that they do not tolerate prostitution on the premises. |

Correct, I have seen that sign as well. I implied picking-up local girls at La Cantina, not prostitutes. That's the reason I asked if his Spanish is "decent". |

last stayed at the Irazu in Jan 07. Took a chica back from the DR no problem. She signed in at the desk and away we went. the signs I saw and that were in the room were directed at, if I remember correctly "illegal" as in und***ge prostitution. Anyway didn't have a problem, but only did it the one time. Been at SL and Amistad ever since. |

Their policy has changed since then. They are one of the leading voices against "sex tourism". |

Irish is correct about Best Western Irazu. But I wonder what's the policy at Best Western-Zona Roja. Afterall, there are tons of strip clubs in that area. Not that I will ever stay there! Just curious! |
