I just got a 1st class ticket on Continental from DFW to SJO for Aug 11 returning Aug. 16 for $850. Also, if you sign up for a Chase Continental Card you can get $100 off your ticket with a voucher they send you and 2 complimentary visits to their VIP lounge, which makes it just a little more than the regular sardine class. Chase also is offering 21k miles on CO, This does require opening a Chase checking card with direct deposit and requires you to use the card for 1 purchase. |

For even more "free" miles get the World Mastercard Lex110 refers to, they just upped the offer to 31,000 miles, almost enough for a free trip to SJO (You get the last 10K miles after you've had the card for a year). |
