Will be going to C.R. in mid August, I remember the Presd. was doing construction periodically. Any one know if anything is going on now or heard about upcoming const.?? before I make reserv. I really dislike the sound of hammers and power tools at 8am. Flaco |

I was just there 4th of July weekend and my stay was EXCELLENT. No construction at all. I recommend it. |

I just booked a room at the Presidente for August 10th through Travelocity. I thought that someone said there was no availability for August. Should I confirm with the hotel that I actually have a room reserved? I don't want to go there and find out that allt he rooms are gone. |

You lose your CRT discount by booking thru anybody but the Pres. oh never mind that is only for VIP members. |

When traveling, whether it be regarding airline reservations, hotels or car rentals, ESPECIALLY if using a third-party, ALWAYS reconfirm directly with the place providing the service. Make sure they have your frequent flyer or hotel membership number, too (NOT in the case of the Presidente). Also keep in mind if you have any problems (like lost or screwed-up reservations) you're most likely going to have to go back through the third-party to get them resolved. |
