I've done the search, but when I type in "CASA 69" I get Casa VINO and Casa Duece information. When I first found the website (www.casa69.com) it looked chica friendly. Granted I'm just infering this from KEYWORDS from the website...69....Discrection..late night supply for you and your company... The price seems good, the pics look good... Just wondering if anyone had more info on the place.. $50 a night for a King bed seems like a good deal for a B&B type place if they are "friendly"

I don't think that B and B's are necessarily tica friendly. The place is named Casa69 because that is its address. I also didn't see any mention of "discretion' on the website.

You might shoot them an email and ask. It couldn't hurt.

Ciaociao

Got a very good recommendation on this place from a couple of friends of mine that stayed there over Memorial Day. These guys live in CR and have a real estate development company out on the Pacific side. I met them a few trips back when they were staying at the ZB Hotel.

Anyways, I trust their word enough that I booked it for Labor Day. $30 per night introductory offer - nice rooms, nice breakfast, outdoor jacuzzi, about eight blocks from Sportsmens. Sounds good to me... :)

GR,
Did you stay there over Labor Day? How did it turn out? Was it chica-friendly? Inquiring minds want to know. I, too, have heard good things about this place on another board, but nothing about whether or not it was chica friendly. It would be great to be able to add another quality budget option to our lists.

Don't know the answers here.

Personally, I don't think AC is a big deal given the climate in the Central Valley, but that may be because I live in South Florida.

Nothing to add, but here's a click-thru link: www.casa69.com
It would be nifty to have a T-shirt from there though (yeah, yeah, I'm so adolescent).

I have stayed there before for 3 nights. It is chica friendly, but also "chicO" from what I noticed. Several guests, and guests of theirs, seemed to be a little light in their loafers.

It was a good deal for $30 a night when I stayed there. I had women to the room no problem with the manager at the time. Good breakfast in the morning, nice courtyard, and hot tub.

Right down the street from the Nicaraguan embassy. Lots of nicas dealing with the embassy there. Hint Hint...easy pickens if you know your spanish.
