Fellow members. I need advice and quick PLEASE! A buddy and I just booked a ticket to fly to San Jose TONIGHT! We had the itch for some ticas and we got crazy and bought tickets. So now I need to find a room for both of us. I called Morazan and they are booked. DR is wanting to charge a lot for the room they have available. It has been years since I have stayed at Presidente but I have heard negative aspects on allowing working girls in, so I am reluctant to try there. Where do you recommend that is close to DR and girl friendly. I would read through all the threads but I'm on a tight time squeeze. I am looking at the Clarion Hotel Amon Plaza, but is this girl friendly to bring in guests? The pictures look upscale. Where would you stay that isn't going to cost a small fortune for 3 nights? THANKS for the urgency!!!!! |

c21929, Try La Amistad. It's close to all the action, and I'd be willing to bet there's rooms available. Either way, I wouldn't sweat it. Worse come to worse, once you get into town, you should be able to find a room somewhere. Plus, a lot of the hotels get last-minute cancellations, so you should be alright. Don't panic! Just go and have a great time! MG

Try Hotel La Amistad if the sportmens lodge is full (most likely). It's a short walk or cab ride to everything. |

Thanks for the tip guys. I actually got booked and am good to go. We get in about midnight tonight. Check into the hotel and go to DR or KL to find a tica friend for the night. I CAN'T WAIT! |

I think so, I saw Spanky outside the CCI Morazan location holding a cardboard sign that said "Enter In Rear"
