AA has a fare of $199 including taxes FLL-SJO, must purchase by June 9. I think you have to fly on Tues, Wed or Thurs. The same fare is available out of MIA.

this is just a stalking horse airline bid against competitor spirit airlines.
great new planes bad checkin service from what i read against AA who senses competition against their south florida market.
has anyone heard anything about spirit going into MDE?
these new a319's are something to bash others with - i.e. fll to everywhere in south and central america.

aa is quite aggressive against any competition thru their regions (south florida
).
and when they bust it up to fares go right back up. and then you can get routed thru MiA again.
my point is maybe a lowfare airline can use Fll to the following pty/sjo/mde/ctg/etc. without flopping eventually against AA competition. :o
