| Post subject: | China Air vs Asiana air |
China Air vs Asiana air, anybody have any opinions on which is better? seems like Asiana flys a 777 and china an a340 to my destination, Asiana is star alliance so I get miles there and china airlines has no partners. Both have the same price so does anybody know who has more comfortable seats because Im going to be flying 20 hours. |

Never flown either but I've heard China Air ranks 90th out of 90 for safety. I believe Asiana is OK, all things considered. I'll be flying China Eastern to Shanghai in November. That should be interesting. |

I’ve flown on China Air a couple of times and have had no problems. Full flights, but much cleaner planes and better FA service than any U.S. carrier. Asiana is getting some nice comments on flyertalk.com, with many calling it their “new favorite airlineâ€. Personally, I prefer EVA because of its deluxe economy class. Let us know if Asiana is as good as some say. Mendo |
