I've stayed in a spa suite facing the street, but I forgot the floor, and the room is outstanding... May I suggest a pair of ear plugs... It's not as strange as it seems, as you need these at many hotels in the gulch...

Looks like I may have this room for an early May trip. Anybody, anything? Near the street, noisy, quiet, any help or suggestions? Thanks in advance. Please no negative reports about chica rules, etc. I just desire information about the room. |

I have stayed in that room, it is a great room, spacious and the chicas love the jacuzzi. Yes, it faces the street but it is no more noisier than the other rooms. They are all noisy from street noise. It is my favorite hotel but that is just part of the deal. I always get the rooms away from the street, and I find them very noisy also. The pharmacy down the street has AMbien, it may help you get 8-9 hrs. I have a problem no matter where I stay when in CR is that I only sleep for 4-5 hours, if even, per night, and last time I stayed at a hotel that was super quiet and in the mountains and still didn't sleep enough. I don't know if it is the early rising sun, O2 levels in DR, or just the vibe of the city, I just have a hard time sleeping there. Hvae fun. PURA VIDA! |
