Post subject:  Please, any info on Hotel Xandari, Alajuela?
RE: Hotel Xandari located just outside of Alajuela. I am on the verge of reserving a room there for my last couple of days of my upcoming trip (March 13-23). Unfortunately, my last couple of days coincide with Holy Week and the bars and my favorite venues in San Jose will be closed. Consequently, because my favorita lives about a mile from this hotel, I thought I'd stay here my last two nights.

This appears to be a deluxe hotel (there is also a Xandari near Playa Esterillos Este between Jaco and Quepos). I'd appreciate any feedback from members who have any knowledge about the place.

As an aside, I searched the travel websites for other hotels in the area, thinking that there would be many vacancies due to Holy Week. Surprise!! Not everyone goes to Costa Rica to drink and chase pu*sy. Virtually all of the hotels in the area are booked solid!!

Hotel Xanadu is very nice and Olivia Newton John and John Travolta are often seen canoodling there. Of course I may be drinking on Sundays now thast I am single again. :twisted: :oops:
