Just completed a 3 week trip in Costarica and Panama. Stayed at La Amistad on arrival Matt was very helpful as so was the staff. The hotel was tranquillo and a good place to rest in, between the action.....Dennis at the Freebird has a good thing going. For those who never stayed you need to check it out.Dennis also hooked me up with a ride to the airport at a good price. |

I like reading reports like this, because it reaffirms my opinion that the CRT sponsors are generally really good folks to deal with. Did you have a room with private bath or one of the rooms that use the two baths on the first floor? I haven't yet stayed at Freebird, but the reports so far have been rather good.

I didn't stay at the FREEBIRD during my JAN/FEB trip, but I did stop by. Dennis was very gracious in taking me on a tour of the place....quite impressive. A definite possibility for a future trip.
