Post subject:  Looking for a large villa to rent in Guanacaste

Hey, was wondering if anyone knew of a nice large villa for rent in Guanacaste on a beach of some kind. I am planning a family outing of about 22 family members for a week and would like to put everyone in one compound with maid and chef service.

I'll need about 8 Bedrooms with at least 2 rooms with 2 double beds, the rest can be single or doubles.

Anyone have any info? Oh yeah, this is in August, 4th-10th.

Thanks

MadGerman,

My friend, you've got to be a little more specific, when you say "Guanacaste". Guanacaste is a very large province, with hundreds of miles of beaches.

Are you looking in the Northern area (Papagayo, Coco, Hermosa, Ocotal, Portrero, Flamingo, Brasilito, Tamarindo, etc )??

Or you looking more central - around Paraiso, Marbella, Garza, Carillo, Samara, Nosara, etc ???

Or are you looking in the Southern Nicoya area (Coyote, Malpais, Manzanillo, Montezuma, Cocal, Tambor, etc) ??

Or possibly an easier drive North/West from SJO, in the Puntarenas area ???

Like I said... Guanacaste is very spread out. Give us a better idea where you'd like to go, and it'll be easier to get you the info you're requesting.

Pura Vida,
Mucho Gusto

The reason I said Guanacaste is that I don't really have a preference for which particular beach. I'm really looking more for a good place. It could be any of those places if the property is capable of housing this number of people.

The reason I chose Guanacaste is because it's a fairly short drive to pretty much any beach in Guancaste from Liberia, whereas most places in the mid-southern pacific are a good 2-3 hours drive from Juan Santa Maria

liberia area is alot more specific. guanacaste extends further south too, and those beaches are 4-6 hours from liberia

Thanks, yes.. i've spent a lot of time googling already, and i've only come up with about 3 or 4 places, all of which are booked already during the time I need. Most villas are 5 br's or less, so this is a lot harder than just a simple google. I need to find something that's not advertised on the internet. Thus, I'm trying to ask around.

I stayed at villa cascada in Ocotal for a week for a friends wedding. Very nice pool, all inclusive, not on the beach, but it is a short walk.

Thanks guys, i've already come across all the ones you mention... but they've all been booked during the time i need them.

I was just hoping someone had some extra info besides what's available on the web (honestly, i've spent the last 2 months googling)

Most rental housing is tough to find accommodations for that many people. I know of a place in Playa Potero that can accommodate 12 with 6 bedrooms on the beach. Have you thought of renting out a small hotel on the beach that could accommodate your needs. There are a few hotels that fit that category near flamingo but not sure about availability. That time of the year you should be able to find something.
