Post subject:  Sleep Inn

I'm new here and tried to research as much as possible. Still seems to be some ambiguity re: Sleep Inn. I know they have a guest fee but do they try to discourage tica activity? How far is it from the DR to Sleep Inn (appears to be on the same block?). Lastly, being a bit nervous about the upcoming first trip, the protocol, etc. Is it possible to meet a tica in the DR and arrange to have her meet you in your room (say the Sleep Inn)? If so, do you need to make arrangements at the front desk?

Yes, it seems the guest fee is $25. As far as discouraging guests... most have reported that they weren't nasty about it.

It is like 150 feet from the gate of Sleep Inn to the entrance of DR.

Protocol: meet a girl, agree on time/price, go back to hotel, she'll have to show ID to go up to your room (some hotels sign them in), and you go to your room.

I think it would be possible to tell reception that you have a guest coming. They would probably call you to confirm that you want the person allowed in. You may have to come down to escort her to your room. Never done it myself.

They have a fee but they are very polite and wont bother your chica, and if you like one in particular you can sign her on as your checked in room partner and avoid fees.
Dont worry about protocol go over and get a few drinks talk to the locals and you will figure out protocol in all of 5 minutes
Sleep Inn is CLEAN, new, quiet close and well located so a very good choice for first timer.

Welcome to the board, and your first trip to CR.

I am by no means a veteran of CR, but I wouldn't suggest making arrangements of having her come to your room later, especially for your first session with her. You may be waiting in your room for someone who never shows up. That's is a real pain in the a**, and a waste of valuable time.

If there is anything that I have found as a constant in CR, it is that the ladies are generally late, or they will be a no show, often times, unless you have them in hand. If someone else offers her more money before she gets to your room, it is more likely than not, she will not make it to your room.

Try to hook up with some of the CRT members, they are usually more than happy to help.

If they would drop the chica fee, I believe the occupancy rate would hit 100%. Or even lower it to a more reasonable $10

Like the Holiday Inn the chica fee is high so that mongers find the property unappealing.

If they were interested in 100% occupancy and monger business they would have no chica fee.

I'll bet there is an executive in the Sleep Inn organization that wouldn't care about mongers as long as he could improve profits by raising occupancy levels. A great location, new clean rooms this hotel has unlimited potential.
