Thanks for all the useful info Admin and Members, I've already save more then the cost of membership,"good advise to newbies going to CR" pay for membership, save money, and let the games begin.

Will be arriving late at night in San Jose, Feb 5 to 9th, have room at the Morazan, first thing next morning will be looking for a MP, how long of a walk to the NF, ZB. Then going to Jaco Beach on the 10th, what's the cost to get to Jaco Beach from San Jose, looking to stay 3 or 4 nights. Members opinion where should I visit on the Atlantic coast that has p4p, or tours or not. Back to San Jose on the 16th til 19th.
Thanks for all the help already received.

Saw my Doctor yesterday, he told me to drink 10 onces of vinegar each night before going to bed, to keep my pickle fresh for Costa Rica.
Also told him to have an IV ready when I get back.

A 10 minute walk.

You can take a Tico bus for about $3 each way. But it's crammed and hot 50 year old diesel bus, so most would not recommend it. Plus, you have to keep an eye on your luggage or you may lose it. I would recommend Interbus ($25 each way) in an air conditioned late model mini-bus. A taxi will cost you at least $75 one-way.

Atlantic? Do you mean Pacific? What kind of captain are you? The Caribbean side (Puerto Viejo) might be considered the Atlantic ocean, but there isn't any p4p there. On the Pacific side (Tamarindo, Flamingo) there is some but not much, in quantity and quality.

Thanks for the valued info, it sure save me time and also to know what to expect. Should have mentioned, I wanted to visit both coasts, and to listen to different people and their favorite place to visit outside of San Jose, of their recomendation for certain ticas, favorite MPS and best rating they give it so on. Glad to be on board mates.

On my last trip to Mexico I met a real "phucking pirate" no shit, he had a wooden peg from his left knee down, he had a friggen metal hook for his right hand, and a phucking left eye patch. After a few rums, I asked him about his wooden peg, he answered shark, diving for pearls. Then I asked him about his metal hook, he answered sword fight with another pirate, then I asked him about loosing his left eye, he answered "twas me firrrst day with the hook mate"
