Anybody have any current info as to how much the orange airport cabs are costing to ride from the airport to San Jose at the present time?

A month ago it was $18.

This service will meet you at the airport in a van for $15 if you are interested..

If traveling with a wingman would the preferred way of getting to the Gulch be splitting a cab?

Orange airport cabs are priced by the ride not the passenger as long as you are going to same place. last time I took them to my house they had 3 people going to an Apartotel in Sabana Sur. They paid $16.00 for all 3 and I payed another $16.00 since we were not going to the same place.

$7 to use interbus one way to the airport. Its a van and they might stop at anothers hotel or two depending where you are along the route. Pretty simple pretty quick. They have a website.

It is 9000 colones, or a little more than $18.00. I gave them a $50 and asked specifically for my change to be in Colones. They gave me dollars. This comment is in reference to another thread about paying in Colones or Dollars. No one wants the good ole USD now days.

If you took a regular red taxi, you can negotiate a fare. It should be lower than $19, more like $12-13. There's no set price for the red taxis.
