My first reservation was for the Balmoral, I reserved this room 2 weeks prior my trip. However, the next day I canceled my reservation or tried to. When I called the lady who answered the phone could barely speak english but foolishly I gave her my credit card information thinking I could cancel it without problem. I was told they would send a confirmation e-mail or number to my e-mail but it was never sent. The next day I called them and tried to cancel my reservation but was told they had no reservation for me. I also e-mailed them and was told the same thing. I come to find out they charged my credit card 192 dollars.... Be careful and I wanted to know what you guys think I should do. I e-mailed Balmoral and told them of the mistake and no response so now I will contact my credit card company. I am hoping my credit card company understands the situation...any tips on how I should handle this? |

DISPUTE THE CHARGE WITH YOUR CC COMPANY! Make sure you have the emails from the hotel that say you have no reservation. You will probably need to present it to your credit card company. |
