I booked 10 nights at the Sportsmens, for late January, several months ago. I called this week to make sure my reservations were in place, which they were, but they told me that in order to stay in the new wing I would have to move twice during my 10-day stay, but that they could put me in a room in the older area for the whole 10 days without a move.

I've seen several guys recommend on these boards that you should request the new wing when booking at SL.

Are the new wing rooms that much better than the older rooms? Is staying in the older rooms a problem?
