This past Friday I booked Delta from New York to SJO (and back of course
) for $283 (connecting flights) for Dec 1 through Dec 8.
Not toooooooo shabby !!!

Fare alert!! I have been checking Continental for the past several months for travel from Ontario, Ca. to SJ next March and the fares have been from $550 to $800 for coach and $1450 for first class. Today, logged on, and got first for $870. Coach runs from $419 to $575. For you guys that have not flown out of Ontario, to SJ, this airport is really great. When I get dropped off in front, and check in, I am upstairs in Applebees in around 15 minutes. Thought I should give a heads up. See you guys down there on Dec. 4th thru Dec 15th. Frank |

Hate to burst your bubble boys, but I just booked today on AA for $264.00 RT (all in) from DTW  . They got me down in the cargo hold; but hey, thats me! 
I didn't want to do it. I just felt I owed it to myself.
