I think the more likely explanation is that they do want prostitutes in their hotel. Easiest way to do that is to make the "guest fee" so outrageous not very many are willing to pay it. Why should you when you can go to Edan and getter better room for less?

ID are you still picking on Jmac? He was probably just offering his best guess based on walking by the place.

Did they ever re-open the casino there?

I reckon when Admin1 did the negotiations they must have been yelling across the park, because he seems to have 25$ guest fee written down under the discounts section.

Ill have fun with me 25$ girls and 20$ hotel rooms thanks

Or perhaps things have changed in the 16 months since the discount was announced and the listing was not changed.

Or maybe he negotiated while walking past the hotel and misunderstood the conversation

I'm still not quite sure why anyone would pay the price of admission at the H.I.when there are SOOO many better options for less $...

ESPECIALLY if you're mongering.

I agree!

Normally, I wouldn't even consider staying at the Holiday Inn. But on the back end of my Labor Day trip, my flight was cancelled, due to an accident on the runway at SJO. So AA gave their passengers vouchers to stay there, plus free dinner and breakfast the next morning.

I was so against staying there, that I tried to get a room at the SL. Even though AA was paying for the room at the Holiday Inn, I STILL didn't want to stay there. But the SL didn't have any rooms, and I didn't want to search for another room that night, so I ended up staying at the Holiday Inn for the night. It's actually a real nice hotel with nice rooms, but TOTALLY chica un-friendly!

Hence why I asked WHEN it changed. It doesnt matter when I was there last, the discount says 25$ so I was curious

I do not recall any thing in this thread that questioned when was the last time you were at the HI. The time reference was to when Admin posted the info about the CRT discount. As far as when it changed I believe Mucho Gusto gave you some time reference.

If the exact date is important perhaps you might email the HI and ask them.

Your argument makes no sense.

I asked a question, MG answered it in a fine manner, and for some reason Paco and you felt the need to add 2 cents of irrelivent info.

How does me walking pass the hotel have ANYTHING to do with what a PAID membership lists?

I dont run the site, Im not in CR. I, and the other members on here take the information posted by Admin1 for granted.

When a member posts something against my current knowledge ( IE a price hike ) Id like to know some info about it.

With that being said, please inform me how your post was useful in anyway? Are you intending Admin1 doesnt keep the website up to date and the 39$ everyone is paying per annum, is for out of date information?

Have a Merry XMAS
