Just a note I do know know if this is something that went into effect nationwide but when I arrived at MIA for my trip to GIG last week, I assumed the porter would bring my bags inside for me to check in.

He happily for $2.00 per bag plus tip was able to curbside check my luggage for my International Flight. This is fantastic news for anyone who checks baggage. Note they even had a outside agent check my Brazil Visa for validation even issued the priority baggage tags when flying business class Internationally.

Bottom line, well worth the $2.00 bucks per bag to avoid the chaos of MIA and the dragging of your luggage to the xray machine.
