Post subject:  TACA (JFK-SJO) extra nonstop flight on Wednesdays
Starting in December, TACA is adding an extra nonstop flight from JFK to SJO on Wednesdays only. It will be LR665, and it will fly along with LR661. 5:30am, arriving 9:30. This is good news for those who want to get an upgrade to business class. Instead of 12 seats, you'll have 24. Both of my flights this weekend were full in business. Luckily, I get upgraded automatically now because of my FF level, but if I needed to ask I'd be SOL.

FYI-They did this once last year and it was a mess at SJO. Both 661 and 663 (last year) landed at the same time and they screwed up our bags. I was on 661 and bags were coming out on the wrong carousel and people were walking back and forth between carousels looking for their bags. Very annoying. But that was a one-time deal and looks like this year it will be every Wednesday during the tourist season, so maybew they learned. :?

Screw you whiner. I'm a whopping hour down the coast from Orange and we don't get a non-stop. Tell my why in the hell NYC gets a non-stop and DC doesn't. MUY TICO!

They have actually Massively reconstructed GUA. It no longer looks or feels like a 3rd world airport....

Unfortunately for us (not you Orange) Taca only offers JFK, LAX and MIA NON stop service to/from the USA and SJO.

But, I would still fly them over any North American carrier, ALWAYS on time and great service.

I'm going to miss getting trashed in Charlotte before boarding the plane. Nothing like downing Bloody Mary's at 8 AM in the morning. Then again, last trip, bartender said have a beer, it's liquid bread. So I had a few 20 ouncers before boarding. I slept like a baby on that flight.

We're Ameican Airline.......do'in what we do best :roll: :wink:

Dreaded "word on the street" today.......SWA in talks to fly into Mex and Canada. Hopefully Spirit discovers DFW soon :)

Spanky, my first trip to CR was on United non-stop out of Dulles.

I got addicted and United canceled the flight.

Return flight time was 3 hours 50 minutes.
