I was bored at work, and this subject came up at the Thanksgiving Monger Meet, so I thought I'd put up a poll.

PS - I stayed at the Del Rey. I know, how typical...

First trip: Prez: Jr. Suite 3 nights, Std room 3 nights.

Second trip: Morazan, Std Room 3 nights. Prez Jr. Suite 2 nights.

Next trip: Undecided.

Morazan was more convenient for trips to BM, NF and Casablanca. Casino on site. Room was small but clean, carpeted and functional, nice bathroom with a large shower (room for 2). Price was a little less then Prez but no breakfast included. Reservations are hit or miss.

Presidente: Std room was noisy and bathroom very small. Bed scooted acrossed the non-carpeted floor. Jr. suites are nice but a little more $ than I like to spend. News Cafe and included breakfast is nice. Reservations and front desk staff are very professional. Staff helped with transportation to JACO and back. Also good on send-out laundry.

Prez has a "1 girl at a time" policy although that hasn't been a problem for me.

On very first trip, several years ago, stayed at the Holiday Inn. Four of us walked thru the park like we didn't have good sense (didn't know better). Stumbled into the BM and thought we had died and gone to heaven. Now stay at DR or Pres, with a preference for Pres. Duk

First trip to CR was to surf no mas. Stayed at the Milagro in Tamarindo and numerous spots down the Pacific Coast down to Dominical.

First place I stayed in the city was Gran Hotel Costa Rica.

Two trips later, we wandered into the Marlin Bar completely by accident and my life has never been the same.....

Had a stay at the Del Rey once for a couple nights, but it has been the Presidente ever since.
