There is a party of ten going to the BW for a bachelor party and wanted to know if they are tica friendly? If not, do we have to grease (tip) somebody?

I have stayed there several times with my girlfriend . They have signs about that they do not allow prostitutes on the premises . You can do a search to find out more but I would probably look for a different hotel in Jaco if you plan to party and have many chicas.

Do they have security there checking all guests?

The Bestwestern is serious about their policy. I would strongly suggest finding another hotel.

I was just about to post the same thing as above.

The BW is definitely not the place for 10 guys wanting to do a bachelor party. Do whatever you gotta do, but if you decide to stay there, you'll end up with a sausage-fest-circle-jerk, instead of a bachelor party. There are other options. I think it would be in your best interest to seek information on other lodging accomodations.

Even the local Jaco ticas know that the Best Western Hotel is bad news for them. Take you party to a local at a hotel more toward the center of town or maybe on the southend of Jaco. Party Hearty and screw the Bestwestern Jaco.
