I stayed there a year and a half ago and enjoyed it but one thing I don't recall. Do they have mini frigidaires in the room or not and if not can I request one. I want to be able to store some cold drinks, snacks and medicine. Thx.

Actually, they're mini-bars, fully stocked with beverages at fairly reasonable prices! :D There's not room to store much extra stuff unless you empty the minibar and ask the maids not to refill it. To prevent theft of the Red Bull, Johnnie Walker and/or Bailey's by the chicas, I put all the bottles into a big zip-locked plastic bag and tuck them into an unused dreser drawer. There's also a tray on top of the fridge containing cigarettes, condoms, candy, Pepto Bismol, cough drops and the like. I also tuck this into a drawer to prevent pilfering.

OTOH, I forgot to do this on my last trip and never was robbed by any of the chicas who came back to my room. The only robbery I had minibar-wise was that some A-hole drank a bottle of vodka, refilled it with water and replaced it in the fridge to fool the maid and avoid paying the $4.00 or so. Dumb ass... Fortunately, Iris and Bill believed me when I told them about it and I wasn't charged. Look, I don't mind buying my friends a drink now and then, but drinking a vodka and refilling with water is a junior high level stunt and unworthy of a gentleman monger. :!:

EC it's bad enough that you have to worry about the chicas pilfering your stuff but a fellow monger doing that is ridiculous.WTF do some guys think?(cheapskate aholes)

As I recall, the refrigerators are a good size better than mini bars, although they do have a few beers and bottled waters inside. I was always able to put several of my own bottles of water, sodas, cartons of half and half, and even bottles of booze in the refrigerators with no problem. Admittedly, though, I haven't stayed in all of the rooms, so EC might be right regarding some of the rooms. More likely, he mistook the medicine cabinet for a mini bar. He has that problem.

Are you kidding? My medicine cabinet IS my mini-bar. Or rather, my minibar is my medicine cabinet.

Yeah, the fridge in Felicidad" seemed a lot smaller...but I might be imagining it.

Somebody please start consuming the stuff in the trays. My novia complained about a stale chocolatina last time.
