Guys I need your advice on room prices, Am I getting the 1st time customer shaft? I was quoted by HDR 90 a night, Zone Blue never got a reply back I have no idea how to get a hold of them. I mailed them and never received anything back! What is normal Rate. Or with CRT card? I am getting my card this week!

Techno,

Please do not give up on zona blue. I got an email from eddie at the end of last week saying that he was out of town and would be responding to my emails as soon as he got back home. the rate is $195 per night, and worth every penny in my book! some will agree and some will not, that is up to you to decide. some say the del ray is ground zero, and if that is what you're into, they they would be right. i'm not a big fan of the DR, and i'm sure that someone who is will be more than happy to inform you of all the key points of staying at that hotel.

all i can say is, if you do not stay there, at least stay for 1 night(24 hours) and try it out. if not, go there and take the tour! you will not be dissapointed. $20 sessions and a dry sauna that seats 6 in your bathroom. I could give you 100 other reasons to stay there, but why bother. just go an try it or seeing it for yourself is more than I could ever say.

You are not getting the shaft. HDR rooms vary from about $78-$100+ depending on what type you want and the availability. As for ZB, I have never emailed them. But if I was looking to stay there I know Mr. Fox could provide an good email address for Eddie.

Who? me? I don't know ANYTHING ABOUT ZB...

not a thing...

All I know is that if you're going when I'm going, then it's a horrible stinky place and you don't want to stay there.... I'll make that sacrifice for you...

Mr. Fox;
Do not worry. As they do not have a casino, I will leave ZB for you and all the others who prefer it for their overnight accomodations. Plus dougpi issued a memo regarding the safety of ZB in the event of a F4 tornado happening during an earthquake on a national holiday. :roll:
I do look forward to you wearing that sign around town you recently posted about in the asian girls thread. :D

Better yet split your trip between both places.What a newbie report that would be.

I was out on the "" of my romeo and juliet suite on my last trip and i was looking up at the "roof" and was thinking the same thing. besides for being condemned for the corrugated tin roof screwed to the top of the building and hoses running everywhere for drainage from the roof, what would happen if a hurricane came through there, or even a strong gust of wind?

On my first visit to CR I stayed at the Del Rey. It was like living above the candy store. The pure excitement of all the girls, the bar, the casino, the pulse of the city. Ok, maybe a little mellow dramatic.

The Hotel Zona Blue is great, but it's for the hard core monger, not the tame, but for the wild man who wants to get the most and the best. A newbe can be overwelmed. They should hang a sign at the door, no whossies, just pussies. (Gee, a poet and didn't know it)
