I am planning a trip in March to go. I have an aquaintance that has a small resort and has offered me $30 per night in my own cabana on the beach with no tica fees. I plan on fishing a lot and taking in some of the local action. Is the local talent good? Plentiful? Relative prices with negotiation? Is the fishing worth it there? Pricing good as well? Please help. I want to make an informative decision. I am not to tied to this idea, but, if it works for a week maybe, I might entertain it. I plan to go for two weeks. Also, for a two week trip, after flight, hotel, what should I expect to bring money wise an average of 1.5 ticas per day?
