First of all gentlemen I have been a member for about a month and I've learned plenty. Well worth the membership fees. So I made my first trip last year and just happened to stay at the Sleep Inn by the DR and had no idea such a place existed. Me and my friend then discovered a whole new funfilled tica life for the next 3 days and I've been counting the days till I go back. That day has come:

So I'm only going to be there 2 nights Sunday and a Monday night. I want to do it big and I'm not afraid to spend a little money for those two days. I was thinking the Suite at the DR and maybe Amistad or I heard about Zona Blue. If you had a Sunday and Monday to live it up what would be the plan?

I'm flying out Tuesday at 1pm. Show me the way wise ones....

I have never stayed at the Del Rey. I have heard that there rooms are nothing special but, you get to stay in the belly of the beast. The only downfall is the chica fee. Zona Blue is another good option. I will stay there a couple of nights in September. If you get a suite at ZB, you get the chicas for $20.00 per hour. That is definately a plus. My favorite room however, is the Penthouse at the Sportsmen's Lodge. It is a GREAT party room and it is worth the price if you have a wingman going with you. All the hotels offer something different but I choose the Sportsmen's because Bill is always a good host, I love the penthouse & they have Golden Tee Live!!! :D

I hope this helps.

DR versus SL:

penthouse at the SL is by far the best room. The DR's two suites has location and a nice balconies overlooking the center of the action. You'll enjoy either one. But if you're talking about getting one of them in the next 48 to 72 hours forget it. To get either you must book months in advance. To get a suite for more than a day or two at the DR I have to make reservations six months out.

The sportsmans penthouse is tits down the nicest place I have seen in CR. 2 large outdoor jaccuzis on a balcony. Kitchen 2 seperate bedrooms large living area with L shaped couch that folds out for a third guest. At 300 a night it is a steal if you share with another person. The living room could hold 20 people easy if you wanted to throw a party. When I saw it there were 8 guys and 15 chicas in there and the jaccuzis were empty.

Sbeezy you still don't get what they are saying. Start calling the SL & DR right now and pray for a cancellation. These rooms are booked months in advance. On my trip in February, I talked to some guys that were already booking at the SL for next years Super Bowl. I booked my room when I checked out for August. When you want to be in the center of it all, you have to do some planning.

OK Folks...

I got the Suite w/ the Balcony at the DR on Sunday Aug 10th and then I got the master suite at the SL on Monday. I'm rolling solo so that Penthouse seemed overkill but I'll be back there in Oct with some friends and I thinks that's a definate. Looks like I got lucky. Pura Vida!

Is the Master Suite the same as the Penthouse Suite? $250/night?

No it's different than the Penthouse (alot). The Master Suite is in the courtyard and it is $99 a night then add the CRT discount and all the good stories I've heard. Seems like a bargain.
