I will be in San Jose a week from now trying to have a good time. I have always done massage parlor girls and this time I want to try a DelRey girl. The problem is that I am travelling with a conservative married friend that had me promise him no activity in our hotel room. In addition, we are staying at the Best Western Downtown which may no longer be tica friendly. You wonderful brothers have already provided me with hourly hotels once I reach Jaco for a few days and need some P4P. Are there any short time safe hotels near the Delrey that I can use without taking a taxi? I am willing to spend a little money. Years ago, a tica tried to take me to "her hotel" in a car that was driven by a rough looking tico. I thought that it may have been a set-up to being robbed. I really am looking for someplace that I can safely walk to from the Delrey for an hour of fun. |

try the Hotel Asia.. 100 meters east of the DR and 25 meters south on the west side of the street, clean, with towels and hot water |

you are better off renting a room at the regular rate on the upper levels. the short term rooms on the ground floor are terrible. the hotel asia is worn, but the upper level rooms look like suites compared to the ground floor, short term rooms. |

What is the regular room rate at the Hotel Asia? If the short time rooms are worn and dirty, I think I will gladly pay for a cleaner upper level room. I just want to enjoy an independent Delrey tica or Columbiana this time. I love the MPs including ZB and NF, but want to try something different. Any recommended girls at the Delrey for the early afternoon shift for this coming Monday? I figure that I will may not have to pay the cien since it's early afternoon. |

the upper level rooms are worn and but clean - sort of, they do clean them every day. last year, i was qouted about 14 dollars a day for a room on the upper levels, maybe a couple of thousand colones extra for a little darling. the lower level/ground floor rooms are really concrete floor cells with vomit stained walls and bedding. do not step in the shower stall. seriously |

Hey CAdude we took a tour last month and they remodeled, the downstairs rooms were clean with new ceramic tile. Not fancy but nothing as bad as you described, and they even sell Hotel Asia souvenir golf shirts now! Think the rates were 8k colones but not sure. Another option is Hotel La Oficina 1 or 2 blocks W of ZB, jacuzzi rooms but only 1 chica allowed. |

If you do not mind the few extra bucks you are better off seeing if the Morazan has any short term rooms available when you need one. The charge is $25.00 but you do not have to worry about stepping in the shower stall

If money's no object go to Motel Eden (why the hell are we talking about Hotel Asia?) nicest rooms around for 15k per chica. Was told rate is good for 12 hrs. but I've wondered if they'll allow you to leave and come back? Probably not..

Where is the Motel Eden? I have done many searches that have not provided a location. It sounds like it's out of the gulch. What should I expect to pay for a cab from HDR to Hotel Eden? |

It's maybe 10 minutes from HDR out past El Pueblo, less than 2k fare. Taxis have been known be a ripoff when it comes to Eden, be sure to ask they use the meter. They may still try and hit you for a "commission", had no problems going but the driver that picked us up and took us back to HDR tried it. |
