Post subject:  Has anyone stayed at the Morazon Hotel lately?
I made reservations to stay at the Morazon over the Labor Day weekend for 4 days. Pablo quoted me a price of $41.00 a day including taxes for a standard room. Are the rooms still clean, water hot and A/C cold? Just could not beat the price. Any info on the rooms would be appreciated....

Have a friend staying there now. He leaves tomorrow after 12 nights in room 304. He liked it so much he has booked the same room for his next trip. You might want to check it out.

Stayed there for one night this past trip (my first time) stayed in 205. Found the room clean and the ac worked ok. The hot water was not that good. Could leave it on all by its self with out the cold on. The only damn thing that ticed me off was those damn swip cards for the door. :x :x After having the card reprogramed twice and still did't work well. Finaly asked for another which worked better.

Over all if had to stay there again I would.

And its handy to the DR if you have a revolving door ! :D :D

Nasty1....I'm still on the fence about the Labor day weekend trip to CR to party with you guys. I can get a free airline ticket for that weekend. But I would just be getting back from Rio and am not sure if I would have enough money to go right back to CR. Hey, if I can make it can I crash on your floor at the Morazan. :lol: :roll: It's been so long since I've stay at this hotel.

just stay there....you cant beat the price...i has some trouble on my last trip...i came in and as i enter the door..fat ricky...says oh mr mike we have a problem ...your room breaks a water pipe...so no room for me ...they tried to send me to one of their other hotels ...i say Phuck off i only stay here due to the price and where it is...so i leave pretty pissed off ...i get a room a "royal dutch " but i say to myself i better go back to the morazan and make sure they dont charge me ...since they have my credit card ...much to my surprize as i am bitching about them still have my card number a manager comes over to me and listens to my story ...and says he will have a room for me on sat..(its thursday now ) i say i am only paying 35.00 a nite ...he says sorry sir that is only the week days...i said screw it you wont see me anymore ...he gives me the room for sat, sun, and monday for 35.00 and its a better room than the #201 i have been staying in...again they did the right thing for me....and i felt like it might of been bullshit about the pipes but i never did find out...since i am out late every nite its the safest place for me and saves on cab fares .....i would stay there ...just dont eat there....if you sit at a slot machine or play 3 card or rummy...you will be hit on right and left from girls you dont think are working....girls and i have had some homeruns for 25.00 to 30.00 in there ...so its a fun place...

YES...and that's the reason why I have never gone back to staying at the Morazan. I still have nightmares about it. :shock: :shock:

I can see now that the only way I can forget about this incident is to get rid of all the evidence and all of the witnesses. I'm calling in the "Specialist". :twisted: :twisted:

Chilimike is right.

There are a few jems to be found in the bar and casino.

IMHO the reason the Morazon fell out of favor with CRT guys and others was thier reservation policy was "Mas Dinero"

Once with a CC reservatiion I was tossed to a sister hotel.

Hotel Presidente is now my favorita!!!

It fell out with me when all I could read about was the shilling for them with the Soprano special, before this board was started.
