I haven't been to CR in a couple of years due to travels to other locations but have noticed that hotel rates have increased drastically in some places in Latin America. I will have a brief stay in SanJose in August and it seems I have seen somewhere that the HDR is charging basic rate of $85.00 plus chica fees. Last time I was there it was $55.00. I can't seem to find any info with the search function on the current rate and the HDR site won't tell you until you put in a reservation with credit card info. If any one knows the current basic room rate I would appreciate the info. Thanks
