Temp Apt in San Jose,


Any recommendations or advice on where to look for an inexpensive apartment in San Jose.

Requirements
1. Safe location
2. Close to middle of San Jose HDR, KL, SL, MP's --if not walkable, close via bus or taxi
3. Safe for valuables and basic creature comforts
4. Good dependable WiFi
5. OH I FORGOT :) CHICA FRIENDLY

Any suggestions? Thanking you in advance as I will be in SJ as of Jan 1 till Feb 3. Looking forward to meet fellow CRT"s for a drink also.

This is a very nice place. It's a modern 24 month old building. It has wired internet (considered hi-speed for CR).

NOTE: This hotel/apartment is non-smoking and has smoke-detectors to enforce the policy. O/W looks like a beautiful place.

Three apartments that I have previously read about here are:

Scotland Apartments
Vistalinda Apartments
Apartments Sudamer

All fit your criteria and have been frequented by members of this board. Search the "Hotels, Resorts, Accomodations & Transportation" section for "apartments" to locate more information.

I could search it for you and post the links but I'm not the one who wants the info. I'll leave that to you... :wink:

How about their Hotel, anyone ever stayed there? $30 for a room...$40 for two people (sorta like a chica fee).
