| Post subject: | Short Time Jaco Hotel |
I am going to be in Jaco the first week of August to celebrate my birthday with some old friends. This will be my first trip to Jaco ever even though I am a Tamarindo veteran. However, one of my friends does not like want to monger because of his "wonderful relationship" with a gringa that has basically "got him by the balls" when it comes to any freedom. He does not want to see any mongering action around the hotel either. I told him that I will respect his situation. Are there any hourly hotels that I can use near the BB that are clean and safe for short term use? I am willing to spend a little cash for clean and safe since this will only make for a better session. It also sounds like the BB does not get any action until about 8PM. Is this correct? I can't wait to celebrate my August birthday with a hot and sweaty tica, nica or Columbiana! |

BB has rooms next door that they used to rent short time--however, I don't know what the new owners are doing with the rooms |

Good point Olneymm, if it was my birthday I'd "uninvite" Mr. wet blanket instead of letting him ruin my trip and everyone elses fun. Do they still rent those rooms out at the BB? |

As you walk out the BB, walk directly across the street and turn to your right. First street, turn left. About 50 yards on your left hand side you will see a small fenced area that has cabinas for rent. You can chose a room from $10/night to $20 a night. Never stayed there but when I bring my taxi driver from SJO, I give him money to stay there. Clean and comfortable and about a 2 minute walk from the BB. dapanz1 |

Sorry, but whose birthday is it??? If he don't want to he don't have to, but to make you go and spend more $ so that you don't monger around him! That's phucking ludicrous... |

If they are staying at a chica-friendly hotel, I wonder if the "friend" is going to want the other gringos there to also not monger. Hell, maybe they should tell the BB to shut down for a few days. Sheesh. Udo, tell this guy it's YOUR birthday, and he's better stay in his room--out of sight, out of mind. Or send HIM to the short-term hotel! |

I forgot to respond to the time of action. Usually, the real action doesn't start until 9 or 10. Usually jam packed by midnight. dapanz1 |
