From this mornings Inside Costa Rica " Three Ch*ldren Miracolously Survive Bus Crashing Into Their Living Room Three Ch*ldren live a miracle by surviving when a mini van carrying four tourists slammed into a house when its brakes failed in the area known as Bajo de los RodrÃguez en San Ramón, where the road has a steep hill. The driver of the van operated by Interbús tried to stop the vehicle by slamming into a retaining wall, lost control and ended up in the living room of a house where three Ch*ldren were watching television. One of the Ch*ldren was trapped for several minutes between the wall and the van. The three boys, Kenneth Urbina RodrÃguez, 12; Sebastián Murillo, 12; and Elvin Omar Murillo, 17, were immediately attended by the Cruz Roja (Red Cross) and neighbours who say it was a miracle that the boy survived the incident and without major injuries. The boys were taken to the San Carlos hospital for evaluation and released. The house had been just recently built and the owner, Ana Iris RodrÃguez, had to be attended for frayed nerves. The four tourists, who were not identified, were able to climb out of the van by their own means and the driver, also unidentified, would not comment on the accident. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the PolicÃa de Tránsito" |
