Great find. I just got on the AA website to confirm this deal. Fares are available from June 19th to November 15th.

I've already gotten my AA tickets for my next few trips. But just for shits & giggles, I put in some of my future travel dates, to see the prices. Tickets were available for 4 of my next 5 trips, with a total price - round trip - MIA to SJO (including all taxes) of $158.40.

Hopefully some of our S. Florida members can take advantage of these prices! Just go to the AA website ( www.aa.com ) and click on "NetSAAver & Special Offers", on the left side of the screen, and then click on "Fare Sales", and put in MIA & SJO for your airport codes.

I dislike DFW for many reasons. Latest is DFW-SJO on AA never comes off $550.

Orange thanks, after conversing with a Supervisor he enlightened me to a few unpublished tricks :D

In the end I can do a DFW-MIA-SJO for a savings of .........$157

Sorry, I was trying to respond to TicaFan's thread about finding a low fare. I didn't realize that I posted in the AA thread. Forgive me, I had a rough day at work. One of my guys called in again ( :x ) and it was one of the busiest days of the year so I was multi-tasking. One of my tasks was CRT while actually having to do real work.

I guess AA knows nobody can get to MIA cheap and offers that fair simply to compete with Spirit. I'm still going to have to give Spirit a look if I can get the RT for $319 from ATL.
