Ok, I just came back from a trip, bought 2 tickets for wingman and me online, and they were less than $300 each, on an awesome TACA flight... Now I'm looking for TACA back, and I can't find anything even remotely reasonable. $900???? WTF? I also saw one for 10000, and one for 5000.... Are those planes filled with chicas I can phuk? Cause even then, I'm not paying 5k for a flight to SJO... I want to see if I can do 2 separate 1 day tours of CR between now and Aug. In addition to my 1 week "family" trip, where mongering will be limited... Anyone got any ideas for dates? |

New York, there's a TACA flight that would get me there at 9:30 and doesn't leave till 6:30pm... so that leaves me a min of 6 hrs at ZB... That would be 600 for the flight, 200 for the room, and 120 - 200 for the chicas... so, for less than $1000, I could have Awesome times, and all for the price of 1 high priced hour here in NY... That's at the high end. If I can get the flight for 300, that's all savings... |

I find if i fly in the middle of the week (tues, wends, thurs) i pay half for the ticket. Also if you can fly delta they usually will upgrade you for $100 if available. see you in cr. matt |

matt Yeah, I'm looking in the middle of the week, the problem is that I HAVE to take either Continental, or TACA or the short trip doesn't make sense... Going on American or Delta turns it into an 8 hour trip, with possible interruptions... CO & TACA are 5 hrs. direct. TACA has the convenient one to spend all day there though, so I would lean towards taking TACA... |

QBF, am I understanding correctly you are making an 8 hour trip to CR? I love the idea but why not just stay overnight and run like hell for 24 hours? |

I doubt you will find a flight on Taca (or any other airline) with the same arrival and departure date for cheap. BTW, you are willing to pay $200 to use a room for 6 hours?

Willing is such a strong word... But with that $20/session discount... I just have to have enough sessions to make it worth it 
I'm guessing that 3 double sessions is the break even point... Of course, if I can get my friend C to come through on her promise of letting me visit and session at her apartment, that $200 goes out the window if I'm just going down for a day... I was actually hoping to get 2 TACA flights, and loop them around each other... Get 2 1 day trips between now and the end of the summer, in addition to my week in July and long weekend in Aug. After August, I think I'll have a real hard time getting down again before the end of the year, but I'll find a way (I hope)... |

matt That depends highly on departure city...Where are you flying out of..I come out of Chicago and just paid 351 for Labor Day and 397 for July...Both on Taca Just chcked today and they are 510 and over 650 respectfully. IT IS ALL TIMING.........I have found the best deals at 2-3 AM on www.taca,com |
