| Post subject: | Arriving in the evening at San Jose, Costa Rica |
We just return from SJO. This was my experience. Took a Continental Flight from EWR to SJO on Sunday nite. The plane intent to land to San Jose twice, however the area was very foggy and the divert the plane to Liberia.( in the middle of the jungle). We were waiting for more than an hour waiting to open the airport and past to immigration and customs. After waiting, Continental transport everyone to one of the worst hotel that I ever stay. Even worst that a motel in the state. conclusion avoid to take the eveining flight to EWR/SJO in the raining season because you have a 50% chance of arriving to San Jose on time. Because of the season the airport in San Jose could be foggy and the plane can't land and your waste a day of having fun in San Jose, Costa Rica |
