I used them from the airport over Memorial Day. I was the only passanger. I don't think many people are taking advantage of this service. I think if business doesn't pick up, they may end their airport service since they can't be making much charging $6/ride when there's only 1 passenger usually.

Very easy and just as fast as a taxi once you get in the van. As you're exiting the terminal, you'll see a guy with a sign with your name on it. He'll call the van and in about 10-15 minutes you are off.

I will definitely use them again.

I used interbus this last trip and the service was great, walked out of the airport and within 5 minutes was in the van and on the way to the hotel. I would have booked them for the ride back, but waited too late so had to take a taxi. Interbus is the only way to fly.

I agree to. Used them on my last trip for airport service and to Purto Viejo, Jaco and Quepos. Great service and relaxing trip. Plan to use them on my return trip.

Normally, you need to book them at least 3 days in advance with a CC guarantee. However, you can call them directly and book same day, if space is available.

The number is not posted on the site since they prefer you to pre-book with a CC. But when I used them last weekend, the driver told me that I can call them same day or day before if I need a ride and they would hook me up. I know this would work if you have used their services in the past, but I don't know if they would do it for new customers.

I wanted to use them when my Nature Air flight to Tamarindo was canceled last Friday. I called them and they would have picked us up, but there was no space on the bus that day.

Interbus phone #: 283-5573

Interbus gets a double thumbs up for the trip in and the trip out. They were at the Sportsmens last Wednesday at 5:45 am for my "aborted departure" and again at 5:00 am sharp at the Hotel Rincon apartment last Saturday morning. Service is fast and efficient for a third of the cost of an Aeropuerto taxi.

You should have no worries.

I will be using them again this week coming in. I have not used them going out because of the dumb 4 hours in advance policy they have. If my flight is at 2:30pm, I usually leave 12:30 since I check-in at the Taca center in Amon they day before. Two extra hours with my hunnybunny is worth more than the $6 I'd save.

One thing I do not like about them though is that there's two guys to tip. There's the guy with the sign that calls the van once you arrive, and the the driver. The guy with the sign actually flat out asked, "Tip for me?". $2 to each guy for a total of $10, exactly half of what a taxi would cost.

Orange,

If you call them when you receive a confirmation, they will work with you. My flight was scheduled for 7:25 am, but I re-scheduled pick-up for 5:15 am after speaking with my customer rep, Andrea.

Thanks Orange... great heads up.

I´m going to call them right now to book my departure ride on Thursday morning. I guess when leaving you only tip one guy...

Since I think that´s your arrival date, if you want me to, I´ll book them for you. Let me know...

Too bad I´ll miss you.... but we´ll get together with Broadway and do a few laps at the GogoRama in Jersey when we are all back in the area
