My friend is having trouble making a reservation at SL via 800 #. The line never rings. Anybody have similar trouble...?

Are you calling 1-800-291-2798 ??? If so, there might be trouble with their toll free line. Try calling them direct at (506) 221-2533. Or send them a fax with your telephone number & email address on it. Their fax # is (506) 222-6702. Or you could send them an email to: info@sportsmenscr.com

You could also send a PM to CRT member True Sportsman.

I couldn't get through to SL on their 800# either, but calling 011-506-221-2533 worked fine.

If you e-mail, I would suggest not using AOL. Mine did not go through even though AOL showed it as delivered. I sent one on Yahoo and they answered it immediately.

I tried calling toll free this afternoon, but no ring and no answer. Had to use the "506" prefix instead and got through fine.

I made my reservations at SL for 04-07 June by e-mail and got a responce within 24 hours. Payment by CC was fast and easy and a confirmation number was sent right away.

It wasn't payment. They ask for a CC to guarantee your reservation. You still have to pay your bill when you check out. You can pay by CC or cash. Bring your CC if you want to pay that way.

Talked with Bill yesterday, said he was aware of the 800 number problem and working on it.
