Not true. ISG has the wrong info. Hotel San Agustin is NOT in the same location as the former Hotel La Gran Via. Gran Via has changed names to something that starts with a "M". Hotel "SA" is a different hotel altogether different. I stayed at the Gran Via on 5 different trips. I switched to the Castillo when the Gran Via closed for remodeling. Castillo is now my "home".

San Agustin is owned by the same person who owned Gran Via. Alvaro who use to manage Gran Via now manages San Agustin it is located on Calle 6, Avenida C y 2.

When the Gran Via closed I checked out the San Agustin for some friends. The rooms are small and very sparsely furnished. The desk clerk told me they are chica friendly and offered a rate of $30.00 including tax and breakfast.

I did not think, given the location and rooms, it was worth that much.
