Another option is the Hotel Chocolate. Need little wooded and cement place, Patio or balcony, AC, small pool, kitchette, suicide shower that works pretty well and lots of personality. a short walk from the beach.

Iam planning a two week vacation in costa rica this septemeber. I have never been to tamarindo but I have herd that is is really nice. What are some chica friendly hotels and good bars to go to their? |

I had no trouble at Hotel Pasatiempo or Hotel Zullymar with chica's. But, Pasatiempo is nicer. The bar scene is different every night in Tamarindo. Five or six different places have a party going on that shifts from one bar to the next every night. That way they don't put each other out of business. Ask locals which places for which nights. I just can't remember, but Pasatiempo and the monkey Bar are two of them. |
