Post subject:  Problems with evening fog in SJ?
I recall hearing in the past of problem with flights landing in SJ in the evening. Has anyone had any problems lately with fog delaying or deverting their landings?

The past 5 months have been the "dry" season. Fog is sometimes a problem when certain meteorological events occur during the "rainy" season. It is not something to be overly concerned with.

Happened to me once. Had to go to Nicaragua for the night. Another time I was the last plane to land and they closed the airport immediately afterwards. Would really suck if you were on a quick 3 or 4 day trip and lost a night in the Gulch.
