Has anyone arrived after dark? Is it safe leaving the airport in a taxi that late? Feed back please. |

There have been a string of armed robberies along the highway by the airport some time back, but they only seemed to hit tourist buses, not taxis. The cops caught a few, and I haven't heard anything in a few months. I wouldn't worry about it. |

As long as you use of the official airport orange cabs you will have no problems. Using a pirate, they will solicit you outside, while normally safe can lead to problems. I have arrived at night many times but I have a driver who picks me up so I do not use the taxis but I know the official ones are there at every arrival so you will have no problem getting a safe ride.. |
