I need to get down to Boruca in June from San Jose and only want to use the public bus for this as a last resort. I am open to suggestions and recommendations.

www.flysansa.com flys from SJO to both Palmar Sur and Golfito. I believe if I am reading this map correctly, both are within 20 miles

I thank you for the flight information, but I am going to be down in the area for 7 days and will not be able to travel with only 25 pounds on luggage. Does anyone know of long-range drivers or other options?
