what is the lowest room rate anyone has ever paid in San Jose for a true hotel/rooming house/apartment? has anyone ever paid 2 dollars a night or less than 5? what was the room like? |

I got charged extra for an extra little darling at motel edem back when it was about 10K colones surcharge. anyway, how cheap for one whole night/24 hour period has anyone paid? I would not be surprised to hear stories of less than 5 bucks a night in San Jose. |

I stayed at the Cabinas in downtown Quepos for 10 bucks a night.It was like a sore peter it was hard to beat. Very clean and friendly. The lady washed my clothes left extra towels and I kept them in fresh fish and tipped daily. They treated me more like family than a customer. No AC or hot water.
