Can my Delta frequent flier miles be transferred to my Continental FF miles account? Or can I combine my Delta FF miles with my Continental FF miles for a ticket on Continental? Does this make sense? I have searched the Delta site for an answer. Not much help. Berk..... |

Hey Berk, I was wondering about that myself this weekend and recall seeing something on Delta's site I think that you can't combine miles to book a flight. You can request credit for miles flown on one airline or the outher to the outher airlines miles plan before the flight. I myself prefer to get the miles on Continental as I already have a good many miles with them. On anouther note we are having a Dallas area meeting next Saturday about three PM at Platinum II strip club if you can make it.rbc100 |

No you cannot transfer miles between delta and continental or combine miles so you have enough. Positive about that one. What you can do on these airlines is have a friend transfer you miles but it has to be within the same airlines. They may partner as airlines but partners will not let you mix and match. |

Surftown is correct. I have tried to do this same thing. Unfortunately, no can do. I also have several Northwest Wold Perks miles, which is in partnership with Continental and Delta. Still, no can do. Sucks. dapanz1 |

Here's what is completely illogical. I can go to Continental.com and buy a ticket. I can have the FF miles deposited into say my Delta ( a partner with Cont.) FF miles account. Delta does not give me that option. I hate the airlines..... except, of course, when they have a fare sale! Berk...... |

This is why I fly American. They don't partner with domestic airlines. They just gobble them up. |

However: You can use Delta Skymiles on Continental or for that matter, any partner airline. I know cause I am doing just that in a few days. See ya Monday nite. |

I had just called Delta on this very thing yesterday. The one thing that you can do that is helpful is travel on Delta one way and on Continental on the other so you have the advantage of the schedule of both airlines. |
