I am looking to take a 7 to 10 day trip to CR within the next couple of months. The only problem is that business has me tied down and I won't know when i can go until it is kinda last minute.

How much can I get airline tickets for with 2 weeks notice during March-April-begining of May out of the San Diego airport?

I am hoping for under $1000 from any airline.

Suggest you check Kayak for alternatives as I know nothing about travel from San Diego International Looks as though you have other choices with AA . Maybe a nice drive up 101 to LAX and look at Taca,AA and others for a direct flight.
