There is a problem at the amon plaza they are not giving crt credit i talked to nixon he said try other hotels.

They should, because I still feel slighted by them. Please don't let get me started, I leave on the 22nd and I'm heading to the to the Sportsman Lodge. No bullshit and no hassles....Service with a smile.. 8)

Why i choose the SL...Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

1) No chica fee
2) Clean sheets
3) Great service
4) Girls right there
5) CRT discounts!!!!!

Need I say more, by the way, isn't that what i paying for.... :?:

or should I stay @ a place that ...

1) has a chica fee
2) Funky sheets
3) Lousy service
4) Arrogant staff ...
5) No CRT discount.

I think Amon plaza attitude only reaffirms that there is no service after the sale, and when you bitch, they simple pull the plug….

That alone says a lot about the place to me….:shock::shock::shock:
But of course that is IMHO only… :roll:

I think you are way off base. I always had a great time at the amon. Of course nixon just shut me off so I need to go elsewhere. But, I did enjoy the place in the past.

Now, let's talk about the sportman lodge. When Nixon shut me out a week ago, I emailed the SL to ask about a room for March 22 to March 26. I NEVER heard back from them. So if the SL is so great why don't they return emails????? I am mad at both places now and will have to sleep in the park with the trannies :roll: . Just kidding.

Here a thought for ya

If you like the place…GO, as for me, I expect a little more then THAT for the money I spent. I do not find $90.00 a night to be a deal in San Jose..for that lousy room


There are many more places to go then Amon plaza, and I choose to stay else where... :?

This week, I too, e-mailed the SL about a room. Four days later, I still have not heard from them. Really a surprise to me. I would have thought Bill would have a staff that would be on top of it.

Of course, two great issues, the internet and CR mentality for service.

I may be trying the Hotel Nuevo Johnson my next trip. Hopefully I will meet the famous RBC100 there. Although, if you can get a response and reservation, the SL is the only place I would like to stay.

For you guys that can't get the SL to return your email.... this "might" be the problem.

I have Verizon DSL. I had emailed the Castillo I guess 9 months back and requested a reservation. I never heard from Darren... sort of. He emailed me back alright with the confirmation. The problem was with Verizon in that they were tossing his emails from Costa Rica into the Verizon spam file. The emails never made it to my Outlook Express. I go to Verizon's web site and check my email. Lo and behold, in the spam folder were his emails.

I now use Yahoo for communications with the Castillo.
