I am thinking about traveling to Manuel Antonio with my favorite for three nights. Does anyone have any experience with Issimo Suites? https://www.issimosuites.com/costaricareservehere.html

Never seen it but I know that road. Wow--that's a nice place. Pricey though. Some nice options unless you really want that place. Costa Verde, Parmour, Si Como No, to name a few, very nice and alot less, same general area. Keep in mind that when you are on that road and back there, you may be waiting for a cab for awhile, and also, you're not near a beach--you are going to have to catch a cab and head down about 4 clicks--too far to walk. Anyway, that would be a great place to stay.

I don't have any experience with Issimo. However, it seems like a great place to take a favorita. As DGD says, it is off of the beaten path, but I wouldn't let that stop me. You will pay a bit more for taxis (and the bus is probably out of the question), but this looks like a wonderful place to return to after going to the beach or park. Issimo looks to me to rate 4 screws/day.

I am not familiar with the property, however, I did stay at Hotel Karahe. Right on the beach, a short walk to the park, pretty good food, large room (ocean side), no TV, lot's of wildlife (monkeys, lizards, etc.) reasonable prices and cold AC. Here is a link. http://www.karahe.com/index.html
I remember that some of the hotels in the area had construction going on next door which made for a noisy day. The hills also create some noise as the trucks and buses toil up the road.

It was nice to walk from our room to what seemed like our private beach in two minutes. ymmv.

Good luck and enjoy.
