I am planning a trip in March of next year. This is my third trip. I stayed in the Casa Conde my 1st trip then the Del Rey the 2nd. The accommodations at the Casa Conde were nice but expensive and the drive was just too far for me. So I stayed at the Del Rey the second time around. The Del Rey was allot better than I thought. I got a standard interior room and I was not bothered by noise at all and the rooms were very clean. I had fresh towels every time I came into the room. I would also tip the room attendants and my room was immaculate every time I came back, which was often 3-4 times a day.

Now that I am a VIP member I was planning on using my discounts at the Presidente.

What are the rates in March for VIP’s. I am interested in possibly the standard rooms or maybe even the rooms with a Jacuzzi if the price is right.

There is no chica fee. There is a limit of one chica at a time and a dress code. There have been no recent posts about problems with the dress code so I suppose the chicas have learned how to dress to comply and that the hotel has straightened out the uneven enforcement problem.

Taxi drivers will gladly take you from the Colonial to the HDR if you are willing to pay the fare. A taxi is recommended between the HDR and the Pres if it is a night and you are alone or with a chica. A couple of guys together can walk with out a problem.

Joker97 and I have 2 standard rooms for Feb 20 - 27 at the CRT VIP price of $56 + taxes. There has been a small price increase but still a very good deal. Arabani did you email or phone? I know from last year they only do reservations by email. Good Luck

Me and a group of friends will be Costa Rica during Memorial Day weekend for a bachelor party. We are all under 30 and are really looking forward to this trip! This website is unbelievable with awesome information. I would like stay in the Presidente, but I had one small question. Does the hotel charge extra if you have more than 3-4 people in a suite? or even a double room? And if there are two people staying in a double, and each guy wants to bring a chica up, is that a problem?

What is the N.F.? All I can think of is New Fantasy. I didn't know they had rooms. Plus I was reading about the bachelor party guy and If he comes to CR then the marriage will definitely be off. Stay away from CR and leave it for us old divorced bitter broke guys.
