Due to a stroke of luck, I was able to spend one night in a suite at Zona Blue on my last visit to San Jose. The experience was outstanding.

I have long been a fan of ZB: I have always found a sweetie to make me happy, and Eddie and his staff run a first-class facility. Now I know, the same goes for the hotel The suite itself is spacious and well-appointed, easily the equivalent of the Penthouse at SL or a comparably-priced room at Hotel M. King bed in the main room, queen bed in the wingman room, big screen TV, wet bar, massive bathroom with steam and sauna facilities, nice decor/furnishings. Most surprising, the room is dead quiet at night.

Eddie is not just a good businessman, but an excellent host. Service was impeccable: housekeeping, security, bar staff, front desk, everyone. When you are in a ZB suite, you are truly their guest.

As has been noted elsewhere, there's no food service on site. This is no problem: a buffet breakfast at the Clarion (1 block away) is included in the room rate; for lunch, Delicious de Peru is just across the street, with other restaurants in easy walking distance.

Nightly rates are $195 single, $250 double occupancy, with a "Lucky Strike Extra": sessions with the ZB honeys are $20/hour. Do the math, gentlemen, this is a superb entertainment value.

I realize that posting this review will only make it more difficult for me to book a room in the future, but Hotel ZB is the place to stay.

i have always stayed at the pres (9 trips) but couldn't get a room for my upcoming trip in feb. i tried sportsmans with no luck.
i shot an email to zona blue and was able to score the last suite available.
with everything i've read about staying in a zona blue suite and the problems with the dress code at the pres, i am really looking forward to this experiance.
i'll post my report after i've recovered

Just got back from three days and nights at ZB. Great time and everything went well. Shared a double 250. Private bedrooms equals 125 a night. 20.00 for each chica onsite and 150 for them to spend the night. Free Breakfest at Amon in the am. Someone on duty all night. I had Catalinia spend one night and she said I snoore alot. Also had a chica back at about 12pm with no hazzle. I will do it again.

I posted a review last week on this place. Without a question this is the place I will stay at in the future. I have stayed at the Sportman, Del-Rey, Presidente, and one of the smaller cheapers places in town and nothing compares to ZB. It is a great place to relax, but the girls are right there, you do not have to fight the crowd at the Del-Rey or walk any where. Just kick back at Zona Blue in the bar or in your room and call for room service. The girls are great and Eddie and his staff will take care of everything for you without a question. They make you welcome every minute of the day!

Also for the food issue, there are many places that will deleivery right to you! I had 3 lunchs and a few dinner deleievery to me right there. This place is great!

The only problem I had is not enough time in the day! You will also real get to know some of the girls and they are 10 fold better once they know you, it is great!

I wish I could go down there once a month to clear the mind, it would make life so great! The only thing that could make this place better is if it was on a beach.
